Elk on the loose in New York.....

Not sure if they are escapees from a farm or a game farm...? Very Unusual for this part of New York....

Elk mystery solved and I'm less than enthused....it seems there is an outfitter near there that has a fenced hunting area that for a price you can shoot....Whitetail Deer, Red Elk, Moose, Sheep, Turkey, Coyotes. Seriously folks how is this even legal let alone fair chase! I'm disgusted!

Well there are wild Elk in Ontario not too far from the NY border. They would have to get across the St Lawrence River which might be a bit tricky...

I know I was so hoping the Pennsylvania elk were migrating north....or like my family years ago cross the St Lawrence into the states lol
