How do you guys cam over / attach the strap on the removable side without the little noses they had on the XOP platform?

Still have a second Ernie kit around and wouldn’t mind setting it up (running one with XOP)...

Don’t tie to those little tabs, they’ll break, LW doesn’t have those tabs anyways.

Just tie to one of the openings (two openings from center, then go around the tree and hook to the second opening from center on the other side. So you need a hook on the opposite side, but I like to hook to a soft strap so I have a loop that I can hook on that opposite side

Old pic before I did the loop and hook, and I moved one space further from center so that it can cam a little harder and get more solid

Thanks! Makes a lot of sense to just add a hook to the removable side! Guess I’ll start looking around for rubberized hooks.

Good point about the little noses - I first wrap the open sling around the outside frame 2 times so the strain is on the frame and not on the little thingy.
