I used T90 and T135 on the pack. The 135 was overkill, but the machine was already set up for it, so it got used.

Straps:

The straps are two layers of cordura with a piece of foam sandwiched in between, then 1" grosgrain binding around the edges. I didn't take any in-progress pictures of them. For the shape, I simply traced the straps off another pack that I liked.

Here are some in-progress pics of the build to give you a general idea of how they go together

The Back Panel was two layers of the coyote cordura with a layer of foam in between. I sewed air channels in, although I doubt they will actually do anything other than look good. You can see the panel sewn, with the straps clipped in place here.

After stitching the panel together, I trimmed the Cordura all the way around - was just easier than making sure all three layers were aligned before sewing.

I then created a mesh panel, with a zipper in it to go on the inside of the pack. I added a little cutout for the drinking tube to come out the top. I also added a small loop to hold the water bladder.

Notice the tape clipped to the outside edge. This is how I determined the overall length of the middle section of the pack.

Here is a picture of the middle section clipped to the back panel. This was just a test fit. When you sew this section you would need to be inside out, and have your straps and handle in place on the inside of the turned inside-out pack.

The inside seam got a 1" binding added.

Flip the pack inside out again to measure the front panel.

Hard to see whats going on here - just a flap to cover the zipper to keep dirt and water out.

That’s an awesome pack man! Maybe could do pack mods instead of full builds to be a little side business or something
