First gun buck/saddle buck

Today I shot my second buck ever! This is my first buck with a firearm and from a saddle! I harvested him around 7:45am

I don’t usually call, but I said what the heck and let a couple grunts out. A minute or two later I hear him running in and I let out a “mehh” to get him to stop.

I shot him around 60-70 yards with my AR15 chambered in .223 (legal in my state) and he piled up within 50 yards. Double lung shot.

Great deer! Definitely a unique rack.

What’s the specs on the AR?
And what brand bullet did you use? I’ve been wanting to use my SBR to deer hunt but haven’t yet.

The upper is an aero precision w/ 16” pencil barrel, aimpoint pro red dot, and stag lower receiver.

I’m shooting fusion 62g
