Let me tell you... I used the trophyline strap for 2 years and I was pretty good at it. But the rope style is immeasurably better. It's like upgrading from a homemade recurve to a brand new hoyt carbon matrix. There are so many benefits! It takes a tenth of the time to install, it's way more simple to install, it's way lighter, it's easier to make adjustments after the fact. Believe me, you won't regret upgrading.

I have to disagree with you. I do agree that the trophyline strap is fairly heavy, but I like the design better than a rope strap. I made my own tree strap with the exact same design but lighter materials and it is lighter than the new tribe rope strap. It is also easier to pack, smaller and simple to install.

We don't disagree that much! You found a better, faster, easier, lighter way as well. You still upgraded from a homemade recurve, you just picked a Mathews instead of the Hoyt!

True! I'll stay away from the Mathews-Hoyt thing. I like both companies :lol: :lol: :lol:
