First pics of Dan Infalt’s climbing sticks

I went 5 deep and Got a free shirt to boot. Between my tethrd setup And these sticks i got over 1000$ on assumptions that I likely won't see any use of in several weeks.

Now I need some carbon climbing gaffs.

I'm bOut broke

I guess what interested me in these sticks was the way they stack. When I stack three sixteen inch cut down heliums they end up almost the same length as 3 of these. Because the helium sticks add length to the pile as you stack them off center and because the steps fold up you end up adding significantly to the length of the pile of sticks. Grant Dan's sticks will be wider at the two ends but also lighter. The stand offs look interesting.

Muddy sticks are no different in that respect. They add length as you stack them

I also said I would take some months ago so I want to do what I said I would do although I thought they would be lighter. With amsteel on them they will be less than 6 pounds for 3.

I don't really need Dan's sticks as I made a set that's stack a little tighter and are a touch lighter. Although I really like the antler standoffs. I went to get a set anyway and was pleased to see I could get a T-shirt to boot. I wanted to pay via PayPal but couldn't so I backed out.
Like I said, I don't really red them. No need to have more than one set of sticks on the shelf and already my heliums are collecting dust. I'm afraid Dan's sticks would too (after I took his standoffs and put them on my sticks)
Love to see guys like Dan bring great products to the market place and wish him great success. I may one day end up with a set.

I have been interested in them since I first read about them. Yes the weight caught my eye but having a machinist that is a hunter design them. I have wanted a 2 step system for a while. Once muddy started having QC problems I looked to XOP. They too had problems. I actually talked to one the Pro’s at XOP. They have done have fixed their problem. However, they are quite heavy and only 1 step per side. I bought the Helium’s about a month ago and have not even used them. Was not sure when the Beast sticks would come out. LOL. With the WE’s I am going to do some presets with them.

More power to you guys willing to carry 5 sticks. No thanks lol!

To the 5 stick guys - tried aiders? Hated them? Don't feel safe with them? Just curious.

Well I wanted to wait till they came out before I decided. I went to buy three, but couldn't pay with PayPal. Looks like I'll be waiting a bit longer before I get a set. I hope he makes PayPal payments an option in the future. That's where a large portion of my hunting gear budget is deposited.

Looks good but price is too steep for me, the weight savings over heliums and muddys I have already not enough to justify the expense. Sometimes this focus on weight gets a little crazy imho, so I'm gonna lose 20lbs and it gets me lighter no matter what stick, etc, I'm using. Total carry weight is reduced both ways.

Can’t hurt to be in better shape.

He can’t Treat his troops that way. That would be like corporal punishment.

I bought 5 of them just to have them
In case. I dont plan on carrying all 5. Figured I'd make 2 sets From them 5 after puting aiders on them

I ended up ordering a 5th yesterday. Will see about aiders. Most of my hunting is s 200 - 300 Walk at most.

I'm seeing the Tethrd wheels turning here. I suspect another "secret" announced not far down the road.

Same story here. I even inquired about driving to Dan and to pick up and pay cash. Not an option yet. Maybe later.

Yes I think I know you can do that, I do not, however, know how to do it. I would have probably have to watch a YouTube video to figure it out. It's that bad for real. And of course I'm trying to keep my payment off the radar! I bought a drill press today so I had to keep it within reason.

I wish I would "lose" my lone wolf sticks long enough to force me to order the Beast sticks...then magically find my lone wolf's again.

I loved aiders until I tried climbing down a tree with them. Worked okay with my early season jungle boots, but awful once I got into my cold weather boots. Having size 15’s is a pain in the butt for climbing. Just never felt comfortable trying to put my foot in the loop.

I asked him as well and he said it might not be the best idea due to the fact there is very little to no chance of having them by opener. So finding a time that would work for us and him would be tough since he hunts more than 99% of us. Ended up agreeing with him that it would probably be quicker and easier to just have them shipped then trying to track him down during hunting season when we both have other things we would want to do.
