Is it bad that it is peak archery season and the thread with the most traction on this site is bickering about grammar?
Gotta throw in some “I hate the game commission because they killed my going to camp and drinking beers all weekend tradition.” Ya know, by giving other hunters a chance to get out on one more Saturday.
Also, it’s “God’s sake”….

Well first off it is a question asking if you have a done had a meal recent like. It is usually follered by words like lunch, breakfast, dinner and then also already. And second off, its spelled wrong. It should be y comma in da air eat...y'eat.Still trying to figure out exactly what yeet means. I have an idea but still not totally sure. I must be getting old.

What tha hail is yinz? Fer Pete sake it is either y'all or youins.
I'm reading this thread thinking, to myself how weird it sounds to me to say "I saw 3 bucks and 2 does......"I’m from PA and that’s how we all say it.
Slippy, sweeper, gum band, hoagie, pop, doe, buck, up camp, up the mountains. . . . Tell tale words you're from somewhere in PA.Pittaburgese- hey yinz guys, get worshed up and let’s go dahntohn to da big bird - grab a buggy and weez goona get some food-n-at befer we head “Down” to camp north ah 80 fer da first day of Buck....gotta leave early, the roadz-ul-be slippy.
we have our own language....
"Oh lovey, kindly arrest the approaching antlerless ungulate that appears to be ambulating... quite steadfastly mind you, toward our port side as the amorous stag makes its advances..... perhaps the stag will fall victim to our muzzle as well when it clears that patch." In the Thurston Howell voice!!!No, it's better than :I didn't see the bucks and 2 does" .. lol ehh adding the s feels unnatural like I'm forcing, or some rich a hole. "ahem, Stewart, daaarrrling, please run and fetch the rifle, I see 3 bucks and 2 does."
Are you referring to the term used by your westerly neighbors as "j'eat?"
Philly?LOL, my area of PA,it is
J’eat, no, j’you
Although the spelling is probably wrong.
