Think Im going to give this a try. How often does your bag get hung up? Should I carry an extra and what rope works best for the throw line?

I just bought the Weaver set. You shouldn't have any issues with your bag getting hung up. If it happens to go over the wrong limb or whatever, I untie the bag from the string and pull the string back down. Retie the bag and try again. Get the bag stuck in a crotch trying to bring it back through and you will be up chit creek.

It can get hung up if you're aggressive trying to make tough throws. Less likely if you are more conservative, and probably less likely with a thicker throw line.

Alright so I done my first srt climb this weekend. How are you guys staying upright? Im definatly more horizontal then upright between pulls.

Are you doing RADS? That's how I climb. Agree on shortening the bridge, it makes climbing much more efficient.

I don't stay vertical really, I'm at an angle. Right foot on tree for stability keeps things quiet. Left foot in loop connected to hand ascender for upward progress.

Im using the same system Jcline used in his video. We didn't have a tree for a foot hold, it was all air. Sure looked like he was vertical though. Great ab workout!
