Friction hitch vs. Ropeman 1 OFFICIAL (red neck) TEST

Until the fig 8 is able to create enough friction, you’re trying to force a non SRT hitch to release. Michoacán would be a better choice, but not the best.

Man, I was just outside trying that ^^^ and it SUCKS with a normal Prusik.
I tried it with a Klemheist and that wasn't much better...

I suppose I should note that I was using a pretty new 6mm ratchet and it's still stiff and pretty short.
It kept my hitches just above my figure eight.
Once I weighted the hitch that sucker wouldn't budge.

I wanted to try a different hitch but I was running out of daylight and my bow was still laying out across the road at my range...

Tomorrow is another day.

Watched a video by Privileged Bow Hunter on YouTube. He has an autoblock on his hip, a schwabische hitch to hang from and tends the Schwab with an ATC.
He can hang from it and it’s ready to rappel without any changes.
I gave it a try and it works well.
