I have a big treble hook that has dull ends I got years ago that was made for tree stand hunters and I can’t fin them anymore. It’s my prize possession because I’ve dropped and retrieved so many things over the years. I keep it and a nite ize biner on the end of my pull up rope.

I’ve used the back double stinger hook, dulled, from a Sebille magic swimmer. Recently not bringing hooks.

That’s what I have. It came with a magnet as well. It lives in the small side pocket of one of the pouches on the saddle as an insurance. I keep my backpack on while climbing and pull up the weapon with a Doyle hoist clipped to the saddle or the backpack.

Just weld some S hooks from broken bungees. CamoForm it and add some reflective tape so you can hook stuff in the dark easier. Been using this for over 10 years. Picked up dropped gloves, shooting tab, etc. haul up my bow and backpack if I don’t wear it on the climb up.

Gear Grappler
Just a few days ago I found myself at my hunting height, after one sticking to about 18-20 feet, and reached around for my Doyle’s hoist and then realized it was still laying on the ground fully attached to my pack and Stickbow. Thanks to some of the posters on here, shoutout to you Red Beard, I reached into my dump pouch and pulled out my Gear Grappler, attached it to my pull down line and went fishing. Was an easy catch and I was back in the saddle in a few minutes. I am truly thankful I didn’t have to rappel down and one stick back up because it was pretty warm and I had worked till 3 and it was already 430ish. Saved my ass. About 2 hours later I arrowed my first saddle and first trad buck. A fine PA public land buck that later would ride with me to the taxidermist. I owe a lot of shoutouts to the guys on here for helping me get to where I needed to be with my setup and helping me be successful. Guarantee you that Gear Grappler will always be in a pouch on my saddle moving forward.
