I have seen several setups in random pictures through the the site showing how people hang their gear on the tree while hunting. In the past, I have used screw in hooks. However, this is a no go on public land. What solutions do you have for me. I know lobe wolf has a system but I like to tinker and make my own.

Please post pictures as those help (me at least) the most.

Thanks guys!

Just saw I posted this under saddle improvements. Would you please move it to anything saddle related. (Probably where I should have put it in the 1st place.)

I have a thread about using a daisy Chain as a gear hanger. EASY.

Daisy is attached to pack loop. Girth Hitch around the tree and have everything attached to it with clips/biners etc.

I have a couple of different straps that have hooks on them. 3rd hand, hmi and a couple of others

I too have a 3rd hand accessory strap. Works well for pack, grunt tube ect. I am just getting into saddle hunting and am still trying to figure out my setup. I am looking g forward to hearing what others are doing for their bows....

@g2outdoors loves the Qlipter. That's my plan next fall. You can probably rig it with a cam strap. I usually use my straps that I use to strap my climbing sticks onto my pack to hang my bow and pack on the tree.

Here's my setup. I bought the ratchet strap bowholder setup from Lancaster Archery a few years ago because I hunt 90% of the time on public land. I swapped out the ratchet strap for just a standard pull tight strap to reduce the noise of the ratchet strap.

I can't remember the name of the company of my current system but I will say that I'm very interested in this new product I saw on bowhunting.com from http://outrighthunt.com although I haven't been able to get any feedback from anyone that's used it yet. I did email the company with a few questions and the owner got back to me the same day!

Also, I will say the strap bow holder goes up faster than the screw in bow holders I used to use. It's a little heavier but packs up really nice
