Hi, having some trouble w/ my web(Butches version) super comfy, did 6 hes yday no problem, but. Everytime I shift my weight it creaks, sound liek straps under my legs. Thoughts on why & solutions please. Thanks, Mike

I get the same thing happening. I will loosen the shoulder straps . Warmer temps seem to be the problem. Hope you get it fixed.

Ok, I figured it out, its the tree tether popping against the bark, its the stock strap one, I can feel it under my legs. What should I replace it with? Mike

Recently got the web, took me all of about 5 mins to realize I did not like the factory tree strap.

I am using a summit safety line that I used before as both my lineman belt and tree strap for conventional tree stands with a standard harness.

Any high quality static climbing rope will work, you can order Samson predator rope from wesspur.com by the foot

I seem to recall that with the old TrophyLine saddle, they recommended using some beeswax on the straps for smoother operation. I don't see why that wouldn't also work on the GW straps anywhere they rub up against another strap, material, etc. to reduce friction and noise. Maybe try a light application and work it into the strap?
