Started my journey into wood working by making some state-shaped plaques originally intended on being used to hang skull mounts. So far I’ve done 4 MA’s and 3 NH’s. The wood was recycled from oak and cedar pallets, redrawn, glued up, and routed out to each shape. Mounting holes on the back, edge profiling, and sanding all before applying tung oil. They’ve turned out really nicely and I look forward to doing more. Somebody even wants to buy one!
