Since Amsteel doesn't hold knots well due to its slickness, and the fact that a Marlinspike tied incorrectly (eg. reversed) is a slipknot, I give it an 8 at best. I hope some newby doesn't see this post and try to emulate your idea.

The internet is full of bad ideas. This can't be the worst of them lol
Now a clove hitch would be better than a marlinspike, but it does slip with amsteel.

As a community we can’t suggest /promote things that are knowingly very unsafe. Tinkering at ground level in the offseason is fine. Someone with much less awareness/ knowledge could find this discussion & interpret this as an acceptable weight saving alternative. This is being locked due to safety concerns.
