Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all. Took my little guy to Izaak Walton, shot arrows at the range and fished for bream in the local pond. Camped overnight in the truck, and have never felt better in my life. Father's Day shouldn't be about sitting at home and getting new slippers; it should be about giving all of yourself as a Dad to your kids, being totally present.

If the Lord takes me tomorrow, I did the right thing today.
 
I can't remember which state it was? Texas? For the longest time the state record largemouth was caught by a crappie fisherman on a cane pole on 1 of those fancy minners nutter likes to catch
 
The willer switch is the solution to boredom with duckpond bream and bass. A 3lb largemouth becomes a leviathan of questionable landability on it, and a decent shellcracker with still put a horseshoe bend in one.

I can also stash it and all the tackle I need in the door storage compartment of the subarus.
