Has anyone tried the beast stick platforms?

Another option:

Do you find that the 9” platforms are sufficient enough to run with a ROS or do you think the 12” would be better?
I don't think there would be any advantage with a 12" step vs a 9". There advantages with a larger platform on top.

I’m trying to decide if I wanna shell out $400 on an EWO stick. After buying a new saddle, bow strings, sight and arrows (and vacation this summer) I’m probably not gonna splurge on that right now. I’m running beast sticks currently and would like to adjust what I already have. Ideally I’d like to put a platform on the top step and one stick with that to pair with my ROS. I still own the predator platform that I can break out for longer hunts but I’d like to cut back on the amount of things I need to strap down. With a platform already on my stick all I’ll have to do is throw on my ROS at hunting height.

My question is has anyone ever used one of these? Looks like they have two models - one at 9 inches wide and another at 12 inches wide. Both of them are only 4.5” deep which is where my hesitation comes from on an already shallow step off. I don’t need a ton of space on my platform as I mostly use my steps on each side of the platform to rest my feet on to straddle the tree but I would like the platform to be deep enough that I can pull off a shot directly behind me. I’m not much of a leaner I’m a sitter in my saddle but I’d like to shoot behind me and be able to take a leak off my platform.

Also - If anyone knows if there any other platform options to run on a beast stick I’d appreciate it.
So, you can just one stick with the predator platform. Its actually pretty easy. Just add aiders to the platform. You can add a cam cleat if you want, but most attachment method works pretty well because reaching down to unattach the platform is not that hard due to it being above the platform. There are fancy names for the method like 'no stick' but its basically onesticking with your platform. I 'onestick'/'nostick' with my Klemz platform and its great!

If you already have the beast stick your most cost effective option is to purchase the bat or raptor and add. You won't necessarily have to modify anything. Its a great design that grips the tree well and the built in slots for the aider work well. You may want to add tape or file down the edges as I found them a bit sharp. Not sharp enough to cut your rope, but smoother will prolong the life of your aiders.
Overall, I'm very happy with these... I have used both - they work the same, the larger one has more room and add weight. The new pricing is reasonable for what it is. I've had stuff waterjet cut that is similar and it isn't cheap.
If you have other specific questions let me know and I'll try to answer in a timely manner.

If you add a bat or 2 do they still stack well on top of the beast sticks?
