As u guys brain storm of places u gotta keep in mind the costs of outta state licenses/permits......hog hunting fla is about as cheap as u gonna get......

We really need a centralized member with lots of private land willing to host
You mean SH Memberships aren’t paying for @redsquirrel to have a 1000-acre parcel in Illinois we can all Palooza at?

Based on numbers so far. Doubt this become anything. No idea about hunting pigs in the middle of the state on any kinda of public. But I think a Saddle TAC event like @Fl Canopy Stalker mentioned could gain some traction. Location coupled with insurance and liability is probably the issue?
Also add turkey season to the mix in the spring and early starts to deer season leaves only a short hot window where no one has any hunting related events going on.

Chiggers are no big deal. Itch like a skeeter bite, you just dont feel the bite. Itch last about like a dose of poison ivy. A real bad case of em you might get 100 on each leg mostly from the knee down. I started ignoring them and eating more garlic and they leave me alone now. They are really no big deal. We have plenty of ticks, cottonmouth and copperhead snakes. ;)
What would you eat more of for the snakes!!

I’d consider a days drive as a possibility, depending on when it was happening.

Looking at the SH user map, the biggest concentration of members is in the US on the east side of the Mississippi. This would make Kentucky the most central location to the most number of members.

I thought I was going to get in on a hog hunt in Feb and you guys changed the date! I’m not taking it personally, yet.

Don't look at me....I don't make the dates

I just count on the weekend after Valentine's every year
I’m just kidding… at first I thought you were looking at a week later and it would’ve been perfect(for me), but when I checked back I was off by a week.

I was seriously considering going to the Florida meet (seems like a great bunch of guys down there), until I couldn't get off from work--I live in Wisconsin. I've heard crazy stories about LBL, I'd be down for a meetup there.
We would have loved to have ya join us… darn those pesky jobs

I was actually wanting the weekend of the 23rd but couldn’t get the full camp site booked that weekend so it didn’t work out
