Can you post a pic for us? That's a deer of a lifetime right there.18’… 20 GA slug gun, deer was at 7ish yards, 172”
I’ve shared this story before, swear I’m not a regular feeder hunter but knew he was around, biggest deer I’ve ever seen was desperate and hiked a feeder and corn across a river and way back in. I didn’t know this but he visited that feeder once about a week after I set it, the next day he visited again and I shot him. Afterward the trailcam told me how it went down. When I went up the tree I had no idea if he found the feeder or not, or if he was a mile away, I hadn’t seen any sign of him for a month. Booner if he hadn’t broken that dang brow. Can you post a pic for us? That's a deer of a lifetime right there.
how does one hunt at -10 ft? Or was -10 below a crafty way of saying 10? LolI hunt anywhere from 30 feet up to -10 below ground level. My biggest buck was killed when I was about 12 feet up. Shot was about 12 yards, if that. It is all situational. Do what the situation dictates. Most of the time I climb at least 20 feet.
No, I've hunted down in a creek that put me about 10 feet below the level of the surrounding woods.how does one hunt at -10 ft? Or was -10 below a crafty way of saying 10? Lol
That's why my 29.5" walleye is on my wall. Wanted to get a 30" to mount it but I know that most likely won't happen.Biggest so far was about 8 feet when I was 16 years old. Didn’t get it mounted, decided to wait until I got something even bigger. 25 years later….anyway like I said 8 feet.
