Identify this Plant

I need help identifying this plant (circled in red). It's growing in a river bottom and only receives sun in the mornings. I've had my trail camera in this location since early June because its a natural pinch point. My goal was to get pictures of deer just passing through but to my surprise the deer feed heavily on this plant.

I've searched online and the best I could come up with is that it's possibly in the Nettle family? Thanks in advance for your help!

Kinda hard to tell in the picture but that kinda looks like itch weed, I believe the formal term is stinging nettles? We have a ton of it at my family cabin. Now you've piqued my interest, following.

Thanks for zooming in! Doesn't look like the same plant, the stuff that grows around here has broader/stubbier leaves. I'm curious to see what other people chime in with.

I see a few different ones in the pic. 1. Ragweed 2. Thistle 3. Smartweed 4. Lambsquarter(maybe)

I've always focused on trees, never on plants/shrubs/weeds so I'm completely ignorant to the subject. Thanks for sharing the source @fbwguy

I got 1 too.....please help identify.
Ifound these in a swampy area that holds water most of the year. I looked up in the canopy and didn't see any on anything. Maybe a fruiting vine up in the top of the canopy? They are sweet to the taste. Located in northeast Florida

This is the only thing I've found close on the interweb....but it isn't suppost to be this far north and the 20 per 30 fruits i found on the ground i couldn't see on any surrounding trees.
I gave up searching..... Call it the snauzberry tree....my friend and i know right where we're talking about. The deer were tearing them up

I gave up searching..... Call it the snauzberry tree....my friend and i know right where we're talking about. The deer were tearing them up

That looks spot on.....the snauzberry in your picture just looks more ripe.

There's an app I use called picture this when I'm out in the field trying to identify plants. It's pretty spot-on as far as accuracy goes. At least the ones I know and have identified with it it has been spot-on.
