So i really have to think about how things are packed and broken down. What do you all use who are self filming to transport all your camera gear safely along with your hunting gear. Any pack suggestions would be great!! Right now im looking at a few

Badlands camera pack
Badlands 2200
Mystery ranch tree house

Thats just a few!

Horn Hunter Mainbeam.

Holds my Canon g30, 4th arrow arm, fluid head with remote, shotgun mic, all my misc tree stand gear plus my climbing method (stepps and aiders, SRT, bolts, or spurs). Tree seat platform is strapped to the outside plus any extra clothing when it gets cold.

I've been looking at the Direct Action packs on @flinginairos lead.

So i guess my next question would be do you place your camera in anything to keep it from getting banged bruised or wet?

I have it stuff in a fleece stocking cap. I carry a ziploc bag in case it gets wet.

Which Direct action pack did he recommend?

I switched to a popup28 in July. Great pack for my filming setup.

Well heck... I wish I hadn’t seen that sweet pack now..
They don’t say how much it weighs. Any idea on empty weight? Is it heavy, or fairly light?

I’m using the pop-up 18, and love it. The straps on the outside accommodate camera gear nicely

I actually run it different. All camera gear in the pack with the arm in the hydration bladder sleeve. Also put my saddle stuff in the pack, along with my knee pads, bolts if I'm using them, plus food/water if its a long hunt. Stepps if I use them, predator, and any extra clothing goes on the load shelf. Carbon fiber spurs, if I use them, go in the side pockets with shank secured with the straps. If I hunt from the ground, tripod goes in one pocket, small chair goes in the other pocket. I absolutely love this pack.
