Nice review, thank you! I will be replacing my basic foam ones with these....though expensive it looks like they will last for many years. And comfort over those years and hundreds of sits will be well worth it!
 
I have these same knee pads as well. Mine are brown (coyote) Love them. Light and not a lot of bulk. Clasp is awesome

$70 for knee pads that aren't plated with platinum or gold????

These knee pads are made for ice climbers. My kids are ice climbers. I guess that is why they are made in Canada. haha We got the ice. Ice climbing, ice hockey, even an ice hotel near Quebec city.

My patella was perfectly designed too but ruined by moving thousands of pigs
