Latitude Method Knee Pad Feedback

I have learned that trying to find a kneepad that is comfortable to walk in was really not the answer. Wearing the saddle and kneepads into the woods has caused issues with catching on brush, making noise, moving around too much. Currently i bring the kneepads and saddle in a backpack and put them on in the tree, saddle base of the tree. Pretty much any kneepad will work when you do that. I currently use the KneePro III.

Personally can't stand fumbling around at the base of the tree. I also have to disagree...hard cap vs soft cap make a difference.
I think the benefits out weight the negatives as far as walking in with them on. The ability to just take a knee quick without much of a glance or crawl without sticks poking is nice...I killed a deer while on my knees squatting down trying to hide and I'm happy I had them on with the amount of pinecones on the ground....but in the end it all personal preference.
I probably end up giving these a shot...the buckles on the new redesign TL arent an improvement IMO

I hunted with a buddy the last couple days and he has the new TL....I already didn't like the buckle and now I see they cheaped on the strap itself. It is only 1" wide and they didn't stay snugged up at all. The pad part itself was nice and I think the new cap design is an improvement but Im glad I didn't get a pair. We walked 6 miles high stepping thru palmetto flats so our kneepads got a workout and the vintage are by far superior. I'm gonna go ahead with the alta360....the military base I hunt is about to open and it's walk in only. After a hunt or 2 and some hard treatment I'll report back....

Side note: this hunt the last couple days the wind was pretty chilly...I had fingerless wool gloves and the tips were getting cold....I was shoving my fingers in-between the kneepad padding and my knee and keeping them warm....the upper part of these alta is an instant improvement in that aspect

Side note#2: why are we not making dual purpose saddle rope pouches? Rope holder and hand warmer so we can loose the muff? Ewo fleece pouch offers a little warmth but the material is to thin...cowboy suede much better thickness ..but why not make a cowboy suede outer layer and a fleece or equivalent inner layer...like the US surplus canteen pouches from the Alice pack era ......Take out the rope and stick ur hands into something warm/fuzzy and could have a little spot sewn in to slip a hand warmer into.... @DanO Ewo rope pouch winter edition

I've used the latitude a few times to hang cameras/practice one sticking, and one hunt so far. Super comfortable, agreed with prior posters. I think it's odd that they aren't L/R sided so one buckles between your legs, the other on the right side, but as soon as they are on I forget about the buckles. Can't speak to the tethrd ones but I don't think I would buy anything from that company any more personally.

The fact that they aren't L/R sided may actually be a deal breaker for me. I do not like having a buckle on the inside of my legs...and I have noticed this a couple of times. I find it annoying.

I agree that is annoying, but they are the best as far as staying in place... at least for those that I have tried.

after a few uses i honestly don't notice, they are super flush and i haven't had any issues with any of the buckles (they're more of button slides really), even though ive bushwacked through lots of thick crap, got stuck in the mud up past my knees (and the lower buckle lol), and scraped that pard of my knee oon the tree when i lost a toe in an aider once.
