Received my platform today and had the chance to try it in several trees oak, yellow birch, hard and soft maple ,oak and ash the platform preformed well in all of them, cammed over well and took side pressure well. I went around the backside and pushed against it and although the platform became slightly loose it did not come uncammed. The platform is rock solid. I didnt sit long in any trees 1/2 hour tops but didnt notice any immediate discomfort.
