Does anyone use linesman's boots for hunting off a ring of steps? My arches get sore after a little while standing on the steps. My cousin is a lineman and suggested these. Seem pretty decent, waterproof, but no insulation.

I wear my work boots sometimes that are steel shank with a Vibram sole. They're definitely more comfortable on a ring of steps than rubber boots or something with less support.

I hunt in Chippewas and can stand on anything all day. Then again, I wear them 365 days a year so my feet are naturally F'd.
