Hey everyone,

If there is already a thread like this out there my apologies, but I wanted to start a thread for just saddle hunting product links. It will be a great resource for new saddle hunters and even the more experienced saddle hunters out there just to see what's on the market. As new things come onto the market please post the link so everyone can see the product.

I'm looking for commercially available products websites, not DIY products. This should be like a storefront for all the commercial products out there for the saddle hunting community.

I know I will leave companies off the first list (by accident), so please if you see I forgot or didn't include a company you know about that has a product for saddle hunters please reply to this post.

To start this thread off I'm going to post the most essential and obvious products for saddle hunting (saddles, steps, platforms) if you think of other categories please post them as well:

I know I get a lot of guys asking for the link to carbon rod (rockwestcomposites.com). Migjt want to throw that and treehopperllc.com up there in the "climbing methods" category.

I think this is an awesome idea!

Someone should make a sight with links to all these places. It would look like a map of a trade show. Vendors logos for each booth.
People who visit the site would have an avatar with a user name that would mill about the map until they click on a booth. Then they appear in front of that booth.
It would be like having shot show on the web.

I really appreciate all of the information. Really helps us newbs out!

I would also add the book a "Tree Climbers Companion" it offers a lot of good info for tree climbing,knot/hitch tying etc.

Really appreciate the info. I almost went crosseyed looking at the kneepad options on altaindustries. Good grief how could anyone make a decision with all those choices. It takes me long enough to decide between 2-3 options lol

Really great info!

I was recently trying to find continuous Amsteel Blue loops (for Knaider / Swaider and climbing sticks). After hours of research, and trolling this site, I found them at

- Dutchweargear.com [https://dutchwaregear.com/product-category/hammock-gear/hammock-suspensions/spliced-goods/]
- Ripstopbytheroll.com [https://ripstopbytheroll.com/products/amsteel-continuous-loops?variant=28529832077]

Most people probably splice their own, but I found both of these helpful and others might as well. I saw them application for them on g2 Outdoors Is This The Ultimate Mobile Climbing Setup. For guys using sticks, it's at about the 8:15 mark.

I'm also a fan, for quieting a stand, of

- StealthOutdoors.com [https://www.stealthoutdoors.com/]

No need to post them as I wasn't sure the process. Just thought I'd pass along as they have been helpful to me.
