Lone Wolf Strap

Wondering how long a lone wolf strap, which I use with my Assassin platform, should safely last? Obviously it doesn't get left on a tree for long period of times. I hang it and pull it ever time I hunt. Through the off season the strap is stored in a tote in my garage.
 
I usually replace my most used straps every few years on my hang on. I have no doubt they last a very long time though. Straps are only 10$ a pop so it’s pretty cheap insurance to have a new one.
 
when I was in hangons, I bought a strap or two a year. tossed out the oldest as I cycled them in. Usually kept 7-8 in rotation. It seems like recommendations are 5-7 years for normal use, but I shade under that usually
