Lone Wolf Top Step

It hasn’t had a problem with side pressure. If the rope is tight and hop on it a little to lock it onto the tree it won’t move. I just shot a nice 10 point from it and had to wrap all the way around the tree because it took three burps to get him to stop.

What size / length rope are you using on your sticks. I was thinking of trying this but wanted to see how it was working for others with lw sticks.

This is the rope I used for my rope mod, as for length I don’t remember but it’s longer then the lone wolf straps. I encountered to many trees I couldn’t climb with the straps so I made them longer.

I don’t use a ring of steps with it, it wouldn’t hurt to have better footing for pivoting around the tree.

How comfortable is this thing compared to a standard size platform? What are the dimensions of the top?

It’s not a direct replacement for a platform, its somewhere in the middle of standing on screw ins and a platform.

Any follow up on how this option has been working for those that ordered? I've had 2 hunts on top of an API and can see replacing my top step with one of these.
