Tom, how often and for how long do you run the unit? If used frequently, does one run the risk of damaging your vehicle's interior?
Usually just a couple times per season, maybe mid October and just before Halloween. I run it for about 20-30 minutes each time.
I've owned my '06 Tundra since '07 and it has 145k on it...no sign of ozone damage after 11 years of treatment.
With any O3 treatment that I do...I air out the gear, clothing, truck, etc right after treatment. I do not keep stuff contained in O3 for extended periods and I've seen very little damage to my stuff.
I also do my best to keep my interior fresh. Once the season comes, I keep my windows cracked open while parked. I don't use it to bring home take out food. I try not to recontaminate it after I treat it.
Ozone treatment is not a magic bullet. Its just one more tool in the arsenal for minimizing odor.
You'll still get busted from time to time. The wind will switch or the deer will end up down wind where they weren't supposed to go.
I'm in my 46th season of hunting whitetails and I can say without a doubt that my odor regimen has kept deer from busting me far better than when I just showered and hung clothes outside. Every little bit helps.
