Has anyone used these? Do they stay secured to the 1 1/4 tube?
 
Thanks, thought as much. I guess you could pop rivet them in place. I’m using Alice pack shoulder straps on my bundle, thought I could spread them out w these.
 
I use the muddys. I stack them, clip together with a homemade strap and cinche on thier sode to my ernie platform
 
I tried them for a while. I modified them because every branch they touched they popped out. Even after that I thought when they snapped I'm they were loud and it didn't help much over just stacking them.

They are not bad and for ease of use , IMO they work better and are quicker to put the sticks together with than not having them. I was happy I tried them. Im the swamps I have had really good luck with the LW stand and just two sticks and the stick quiver has helped.
