I’m not at all upset in how it is being handled. These things were put out to customers & there are some bugs in the new product. They have been responsive & apologetic, making it right by offering free return or retooled parts. We’re never going to get absolute perfection on a broad scale! I’m not GIVING them a pass but I do feel EARNED one with how this played out.......

I'm happy with how my concerns are being handled. Very up front. I don't think, not even for a millisecond, that they mislead anyone with the intended use.

If anything it’s a lack of nuanced experience in what we do & how diverse saddle hunting is..... not knocking Brad but that system is a little different than what we do.

I have been critical for putting out a poor QC product but the fact that they are working overtime to make everyone happy pays massive dividends in my book.

I do think the versa button was bad from the get go. It looks like there was a water jet cut out for some thing like what they sent out for replacement. I also think the exposed threads was an over time concern for wear on the strap. Its nice to see the new one looks a lot stronger but that versa should not have been over looked. There we picks of them using the versa that was sent out for replacement so why wasn't it used from the start is my big question.

A few have mentioned growing pains....Nope they have been in this business for years. The name is new but the owners are seasoned.

Like stated before not giving them a pass because they should have caught the issues BUT the way they have handled it is absolutely top notch. The QC is going to be on point from here on out. They will grow form this mistake and we will be rewarded with top of the line products because of it. I hope other companies have paid attention to how QC issues and unsafe issue were handled and take notes.

I cannot get ahold of LWCG. Voicemails and emails left unanswered. I finally got my new button but is it an actual fact that I’m getting a machined post? Does this actually fix the problem?

I had one, didn’t like it. Sold it for exactly what I paid on our classifieds here. LWCG was responsive and helpful. The product wasn’t for me, but it cost me nothing to try it out and learn that. What could I possibly complain about. Given that it will take you less than a day to get back your money on the classifieds now and in the future, If the product isn’t for you; you really have nothing to complain about - just get your money back and move on.

With the money that I spent on mine and then got back from my classifieds sale to another member, I bought a OOAL ridge runner on our classifieds. It is awesome - everything I wanted as an improvement on my assassin seems to exist in the ridge runner - and I still have an extra sawbuck or so in my pocket to waste on other stuff. All worked out - no complaints from this dude.

When I talked to Andrae he said the platform is not going to change. They are getting another manufacturer to water jet a better quality platform and post. But it will be the exact same platform. The replacement post are going to be machined. Which he said will only happen for the first 150. Machining is better than water jetting but they can't machine the entire platform in the USA and make money. There is no Gen 2 any time soon. As far as quality control, he didn't oversee it. Which is why he is upset they went out like they did. You know his son Cody also runs the company. Could quite possibly be his fault or other employees. The damage is done and they are taking care of everybody. The replacement post will probably be better than the water jetted post in the future. So some will have a unicorn Ambush with a machined post. It was tested by Brad and maybe Andrae. There is no LWCG pro staff that get's stuff early. I was upset that I have post holes that are not centered, but the platform works for me, pairs extremely well with the mini sticks and they are going to replace the post. What is there to be mad about at this point? If it didn't work out for me I wouldn't be mad. I'd just return it or sell it and move on.
Was wondering if they are automatically just sending out the new parts for all 150 platforms or do you have to complain to get new parts.

They sent a new post to everyone without having to ask.

When I talked with Andre he said anyone that requests a new post they’ll send it out once they’re machined.

I sent my ambush back about 2.5 weeks ago and I am still waiting for my refund.

I sent mine back as well, was delivered last Monday 12-2, also still waiting for my refund, I did send an email yesterday but so far haven't heard back. I am sure they are busy with everything going on, I hope to see my refund this week as this friday will be 10 business days since delivered back to them, that should be sufficient time to get my refund processed.

Mine was delivered 11/25 to them. Still no refund. I can see that week being Thanksgiving week and all but I should of had my refund beginning of last week.
