For those guys that have tried the LWCG Double steps……. Which length worked better on the tree for stability? I know there was some chatter about the first generation Models (maybe the 17 inchers) that kicked out at times?

Surely…..someone has feedback on the LWCG doubles and the length?

They will kick out if you have stack in the attachment. I highly suggest using good ole cam buckle straps. 14 and 17 where about the same. 20” a little more solid on the tree.

They look like they can makes some marks/scars on the trees with the bolts as well.
