Just wanted to share with you. I bought this Milled aluminum platform post from HuntingBob, who does fantastic work by the way. I was able to get this powder coated and the result turned out phenomenal! I know the new Predator platform looks really nice but if your DIY ing it, it's hard to beat this as your foundation for your platform.
 
Wow! That is nice! By the way you can do powder coating or ceracoating yourself.

If you look on YouTube there are lots of diy instructions for doing it. In short you basically spray the powder on and the bake it in an oven. So you’ll need an oven but that can be pretty simple for something as small as this.
