Minor Setback

Well I’m in the hospital. I’ve been having some chest issues and tried to ignore it. I had a heart attack around two o’clock today. I go in for heart catheter in the morning. Praying may not need much repair. I love hunting and outdoors and I love this thing we call saddle hunting. Say a little word for me if ya can. Good people here.

Thanks y’all for all the prayers and kind words. All went well and I now have 3 new stents plus they cleaned out an existing stent. I feel much better (0 chest pain)and I hope to get out of ya he hospital this evening. I’ll get back at it soon as possible, I’ve got turkey to kill soon and deer hunting for me is 360. Tinkering with saddles has turned into a great hobby as well. Thanks again guys. Means a lot.

My wife is an RN on a hospital telemetry unit. She told me Drs. wants patients up and moving as soon as possible.

I think that was more for me to keep excercising.

I want to explain my symptoms so that it may help someone else. First it started with a bit of pain in the upper center of my chest. An area about the size of a quarter let’s say. Sunday that pain was softball sized. Both my shoulders were like flu symptom muscle aches x 10. I was burping and belching sometimes 20 or 30 times in a row. This all has been going on for months but I was in denial and trying to ignore it. It gradually worsened. I was trying to convince myself it was gas or reflux or something. IT WAS MY HEART!!! Plain and simple. Friends don’t ignore these little signs. Your body speaks to you. Listen and do not ignore it. All the walking and exercise I’ve been doing probably kept it from being far worse. Thank you Jesus that I’m living today to share this and for the wonderful opportunity to continue for my family and myself. God Is Good!!!
