Looks like
@Seals72 has kept you up to par with everything. I think we will be headed back in 2 to 3 weeks and hope the search or chase phase will be on.
Liked the area and the potential that this area has to offer. Yesterday afternoon, I found some rubs that was the size of a baseball and 2 more the size off a nerf football in one area.
My issue was that I got lazy......never been that way. Found a good trail with buck sign and I should have followed up on but the trail ran off down into a hollow that I could see the tops of the trees in the bottom and I did not want to get off down in there with it being 86 degrees. No trees large enough to climb where the trail exit a huge cedar thicket at the top.
Will not be lazy next time.......I PROMISE!
Old sign from years past, shows there are some bruisers there.
We are working on Mitch to become one of the saddle brotherhood. I think it's working.
The biggest plus about the whole trip was the good Lord has given us a safe trip and second, the time spent with 2 of the best friends that a person could have........PALS ALWAYS!
