This thread has mostly been about heavy fabric construction. Here is a video on relaxing. I used that other brown strap as a big back band. It is is great. A few more straps and I will achieve my goal of the big yellow tree-lawn chair.

Also, what type of plywood are we working with? Treated or not? This thread has mostly been about heavy fabric construction. Here is a video on relaxing. I used that other brown strap as a big back band. It is is great. A few more straps and I will achieve my goal of the big yellow tree-lawn chair.

No. The flexibility seems to be it's own cushion. I sat twice last week with underwear and fleece pants (Natural Gear) and didn't need any. If I get butt pinch, I will reconsider.Got any plans to add a cushion?
Can’t see how that plywood is given you much flex, hemroids sure, flex nah. I’m only kidding but I just meant on top of the plywood.No. The flexibility seems to be it's own cushion. This was the back off an old piece of furniture (0.195"). I would use plywood underlayment, I think its a little less than 1/4", if I was buying new. Also

Oh well in that case you might be getting some flex haha. Gonna be nerve racking if it cracks while sitting on it. Of course you wouldn’t go anywhere but still. This was the back off an old piece of furniture (0.195"). I would use plywood underlayment, I think its a little less than 1/4", if I was buying new.
If I add a huge cushion it will increase the weight significantly more than 2 ounces. Can’t see how that plywood is given you much flex, hemroids sure, flex nah. I’m only kidding but I just meant on top of the plywood.
The first piece I added did crack when I sat on it so I sewed half of it to the saddle for testing. It is a few posts back in this thread. It really only needs stitching so it stays in place, not for support.Oh well in that case you might be getting some flex haha. Gonna be nerve racking if it cracks while sitting on it. I'm thinking of doing that now. I will hunt from it as is a few more times and see if I want to glue a piece of foam to it.Got any plans to add a cushion?
I didn't see your post about that. I will try to find it. Thanks.I have shared this before, but a thin cutting board will work much better than plywood for this purpose as it will flex without breaking.

I searched all of saddlehunter.com. Maybe you used different words. It was on a different, older thread, but has worked well for testing so far.
