I have a platform that I broke a piece off of and need some suggestions on repairing it. It's an older Lone Wolf seat with the Lone wolf batwing brackets and the tube is steel. For some reason my picture isn’t uploadin.

Take a screenshot and upload the screenshot of the photo

Or if you’re on iPhone after you select the photo down at the bottom change the size to medium of large

Personally with what's at stake if it fails at height, I would work some overtime and get a new one. If it fails while you are 20ft up it will be way more expensive than a new one.

Send Tethrd an email and see what they say, never hurts to ask even though you didn’t buy it new………………………………………………………..oh wait my bad… I just looked quick at the pictures and thought here we go again… knee jerk reaction I guess… LMAO

As others have said, I’m not sure there is a fix for that one. If a new platform is not in the budget I would start looking for an old seat to replace that one. There are so many new platforms on the market today that if you put a want to buy ad in the classifieds you might find someone that has an old seat laying around that they never took the time to turn into a diy platform.
I know that does help in the short term. Hope either your season hasn’t started or you have another option in the meantime.

Warning: Do not use this product as a saddle platform. For use exclusively as a replacement seat kit.

Why would you even post it then?

If it’s cast aluminum like I’m thinking it is yes you COULD repair it but honestly pitch it in the bin and get another platform. A braze job MIGHT hold up but where it’s broken at the post gets a lot of twisting and shearing force and the last thing you want at height is for the entire platform to decide it’s had enough of this nonsense and check itself out and snap off the post. Then you’ll really have a cool story to tell. Just buy a new platform. Picture for good natured ribbing and cuz Jeff Goldblum.

1. So OP knows and can make an informed decision
2. So OP can understand maybe why the platform broke, and can make an informed decision

Due diligence I think it's called.

The Novix seat I believe is bigger than the og LW seats, and that could mean more leverage to break a seat used as a platform. Otherwise, it's about the same.

From what I understand, aluminum is VERY hard to weld back together. If you really want the same, people are always selling the seat section on ArcheryTalk for around 40-50 TYD. I have an XOP one if you're interested.
