Need one that somehow folds over or around or beside that toe bar.You may find that the post makes it hard to angle the climber as much as you’d like during climbing

I moved the toe bar back to give me enough clearance to climb. The toe bar is mounted where the platform supports used to slide into place. It won’t collapse flat anymore but I’m not worried about it.Need one that somehow folds over or around or beside that toe bar.

Could you use a pin instead of a bolt to attach the post to the platform? Fold it under bar and pin it or leave it in your pack while climbing and then pin it to the platform once you’re at hunting height.

The problem is that gets tedious as you need those washers between the dog ears and post tight. Even if the washers are bonded to the dog ears, the post should be almost difficult to slide in place. And you have to align holes and slide the pin in at height after climbing, which adds to the difficulty in accomplishing the task.
I had considered a two piece (sleeve style) post with a pin connection, which I thought would be easier. That presents it’s own issues though, and I‘ve been satisfied enough with what I’ve got the way I use it to not tinker further.
