I’ve been a saddle user for probably close to ten years, can’t really remember when I started. I’ve used an original trophy line ambush, sit drag, mantis, and now phantom. I’m mostly a leaner and use a predator for a platform. I liked the mantis and could have kept using it but wanted to give the phantom a try.
What I liked:
-new leg position hookups-no nut crunch
-comfort channels-being a leaner I liked the second to top position which put a little more pressure on the top strap and kept it from moving
-strap keepers-little thing but is nice
-mesh has a little more structure to it
Being a one stick climber I don’t generally use a linesman belt unless going over limbs. The new loops are big and easy to use though. Don’t really have any complaints so far. A good improvement over the mantis.
