Hey y’all this will be my first season out of a saddle. I went with the jx3 and hawk heliums for my set up. Other than my legs being super sore from climbing up and down practicing I’m loving it. Grateful to have found this forum, I’ve learned a lot and know I’ll be learning much more.

Thanks guys, funny thing I’ve worked in Michigan holland area and and lived in NJ for several years.

Welcome- I like the group. Found some local Georgia folks to meet up with.
I'm relative close geographically hit me up sometime. (East of Atlanta off I-20)
Learning from folks locally has helped me greatly.

Absolutely I’m learning something new every time I come on this forum it’s awesome. I hunt with a club but no one there saddle hunts so I’m definitely down to meet up with other folks that hunt mobile.

I just want to thank all you guys for the warm welcome, it’s awesome to hear from hunters from all over the country. You guys from up north should come hunt Georgia some time especially when it gets super cold up there and we’re running around in shorts and tshirts.

Welcome, from a Flowery Branch saddle hunter. where in Georgia are you located? I’ve been saddle hunting for 3 seasons and will never go back to a climber. I rock climbed for about 12-years in my younger days so
I know few tricks. If you have any questions feel free to hit me up. Also for all you other guys out there we are trying to do a Saturday meet up in February 2023 to get a bunch of different saddles together to allow folks to try them out. Join the Georgia Saddle hunters page to get details as they become available. I will also post information here too. Good hunting!

I’m in Madison co. In the city of Danielsville so we’re not too far from each other. I’ll definitely check out the page you suggested that sounds great. I’m definitely down to learn what different systems of climbing everyone is running and how I can get the best out of mine. Thanks brother.
