Wondering if its worth the investment for a 70 yr old to start saddle hunting. I currently hunt from portable stand

Welcome! If you are interested in giving it a shot, you can always try to find a member on here, meet up, more guys have been at the hunting shows, and give one a try before you buy it. Also Cruze the classifieds on here for a used one to give a go with. Sounds like if your all ready hunting mobile your not to far away. I think most manufacturers offer a return if you don't like it as well. There is always the JX3 if you want the lazy boy in the tree for that all day comfort. Can't really give you a reason not to try it.
