New to the whole saddle approach of hunting. I always used lock ons or climbers but as a power lineman this should prove to be a pretty easy non climbing stand option. Thanks for all the info/posts you all have up on here. The info is very helpful.
The gaffs we use for poles are shorter than arborists gaffs but having said that they would probably work. The ones I have for work are also pretty noisy metal to metal. I’m also fairly certain it’s not legal to marr up trees on our public land areas. I’ll just carry in sticks, there’s no long walks in this small state.Welcome from Maine!
