Hey everyone, been interested in saddles for awhile and have been reading everything I can get my hands on about them. Wife is letting me pull the trigger this year but still not sure what I want as I have yet to even sit in one. Looking forward to share my experience as I start saddle hunting.

Welcome from Kennett Square. New to the Saddle world also. Good luck.

have you bought one yet?

Yea ended up pulling the trigger on a tethrd phantom. Happy so far. Need to put more time in the tree with it and work out my tether and bridge set up. Had ordered some Wild Edge steps before the saddle came which I like and feel will work well on the properties I hunt. Still working on some lineman and tether ropes to buy and eventually plan to use a ropeman 1 on the lineman or both.

Welcome from Williamsport pa! You should try to meet up with some local guys in your area. I think @bj139 is down that direction! Try out something. I never tried one just did a lot of research and watched a lot of reviews! Good luck!!

Welcome from Hatfield, PA. If you want to get together when things open up I have a few commercial saddles, a DIY saddle and a sitdrag DIY saddle. I climb SRT and have climbing sticks and Primal steps you could try. I can show you how to climb SRT (easy) and climbing sticks. The steps I tried but didn't get very far. Evansburg State park is about halfway between you and me (15 min).

Welcome from KS. I bet your wife doesn’t know the can of worms she has unleashed!!
