I have no reason to complain, but the fact that it's a breath heavier than the other platform just irks me. I'm thinking, "man, couldn't you scallop out the bottom of some of those angled treads to get back that half pound? Drill some holes? Tie a balloon on it? Balloons are good for getting bucks, I hear.

more processing time= more cost.

But yeah i think they could whack some out of it.

Whacking out more weight out of it equals more time which equals more money. That is where you DIYer's come in. Buy it and whittle away.....

If they keep the Podium in their line, you've got a lighter weight option available.

I think Matt's hit another home run again!!

I don't know about you guys but I think this guy and his company is pretty impressive. He seems to be taking everybody's thoughts and opinions pretty quickly and efficiently and put them together and creating something pretty nice that's actually really affordable.

I've got to be honest I really liked the design of the perch platform, but didn't care for needing extra peices to use it. Then I saw a Facebook live video about a new platform and camera arm and the platform looked fantastic. I have both the gen 1 and 2 predator and love them. I ordered the new Ridge Runner and believe I will love it as well. Matt from OOAL is knocking it out of the park
