Hello....New to the site and located in Chattanooga, TN. I have been looking at and reading up on Saddle Hunting since October. I have always used a climber for the past 25 years. I thought I would try one and decide if it was for me and if so, make the purchase this spring and have all summer to practice. Yesterday, I was able to try out a saddle here locally by a fellow member from this site. He had an H2 saddle and OOAL Road Runner platform. The H2 seemed very well built, safe and comfortable. I believe I am going to get into my "mad money" and do this. I have a lot of purchasing and practicing to do once I decide what to purchase. This site has been helpful from all types of aspects. Thanks for that. I hope I can contribute some tips down the road.

Welcome. I’d recommend trying out a sitdrag before you get 7 saddles in. Or not, I didn’t.

Welcome from Central Florida. Your going to love the mobility and flexibility. I scout with my saddle on most of the time now and carry one stick so if I need to get a better look I can quickly get up 6 or 7 feet. I covered 4 miles on Friday scout a new area and forgot I had my saddle on the entire time. Never could have done that with a climber.

Welcome from WA. It's been 25-years since being up in a tree and so I am starting over & entering my rookie season of using a saddle. Just waiting on my H2 to get the practice in before Sept!

Welcome Heath. Nice to meet you the other day and hope we can hunt together sometime. Glad to see you on here.

Yes it was nice to meet you and to help me out. Yeah we will have to meet up sometime and hunt.
I just took the plunge and ordered the H2. Looks like I will be waiting about 4 weeks for delivery.
