OnX subscription

Hi guys
My onX subscription renews on 10/1 through the apple store.
I want to cancel the subscription through apple and renew on the On X web site to get the THP discount.
If I do this Will I lose all my data or will I retain all my waypoints/ tracks etc.

Call their customer service and they can walk you through it on the spot. I had a different issue with mine, but they fix it in less than 2 mins. Anything tied to your account should not be lost either.

Just make sure you take care of it before it auto renews. They won't credit it after renewal, even if it's only a few hours.

At the end of each season, I export all my data and save it to a file on my computer. If anything happens to my account, I can always import everything back into Onyx. I can also import into google earth or my gps.

You won’t lose your data. Actually, the only thing you lose is the map layers. So you won’t be able to see boundaries of public and private and whatnot. But you’ll still have all your waypoints and everything right where you left them.

Once you subscribe again, they populate just like you never left.

I took a few months off to see if I could do it. I resubscribed.

Same here, I cancelled for a few months and renewed with a code and didn’t lose anything. I’d still recommend you export your data though, just in case.

Should be able to just call them and they will apply it to your current subscription

I ended up just canceling on the apple store and logged in to OnX web site applied the thp code and all is good on computer and phone .

I cancelled, actually mine renewed and I didn’t know till I saw the credit card get hit. They canceled for me and refunded me . I lost nothing, I also still have the offline maps that I saved. Been using hunt stand more lately and bought the pro version. Each have their perks, but the offline maps is the best thing OnX has in my opinion
