Glad to see all these PA saddle hunters. Everyone I talked to about it had never heard of a saddle before. Any whats, the saddle treated me good this morning, 7 doe and 5 bucks (all spikes and forks), was at full draw on one of the doe but she busted when I did the old “meh”. Sometimes it works, sometimes it don’t I guess. Back up in the tree now, looking for some 4 legged steaks.
damn, thats a good day. the cold snap definitely got them on their feet

Well PA season opened and I am in Texas. Not hunting visiting in-Laws...
What a day to be in PA woods. Jealous my Saddle family! Good luck and hang safe!

Ugh, you definitely missed it. The cold snap hit PERFECT. The only thing with drastic of temp change the wind was blowing pretty good. A few times I had to hold on, lol. Of course I picked a skinny tree cause the wind wasnt blowing when i went in.

Ya I did miss the opener, however many more days scheduled. Hope this cold streak hold on. At least cooler than it is in Texas....wow 97

Told my wife I would have one on the ground by 9 am and she laughed at me. Shot this doe at 7:45 am this morning. :cool:20191005_090223.jpg
