Oplux/ beal jammy for a bridge

You cut of the bridge loops?
oh yeah lol i know it sounds crazy and i had a hard time doing it but ill never get rid of it even if i buy new. The pressure coming from the linesman loops is so much more comfortable than coming from the bridge loops....I also wasnt a fan of the amsteel prusik so i switched my bridge to oplux with a kong duck on it because i like to make quick adjustments to my bridge while im one sticking.

The bridge loops connect the upper and lower straps (and, in fact, ARE the upper and lower straps) of the saddle. Sure, the lineman's loops are sewn into those straps, but you cut off part of the structure of your saddle.

Yeah you may be right...i sewed them both together so they are connected...if the linemans loop are designed for the linmans belt itll work for the bridge just like the Cruzr...i have no worries about it but understand that most people would. Im not trying to get anyone to do it just stating what i did.

I' m out of this thread, other than to advise future readers to NEVER cut the bridge loops off a saddle.

Hahahahaha i advise that too! if youre not using them just let them dangle in the way. I did not mean to stir anything up just letting people know how i did it.

I'm thinking of using oplux and a 50cm jammy for a bridge. Basically tie oplux to left side loop with a figure 8 and then put the jammy on the opposite side with a prussic on the bridge loop and the oplux. similar to a utilibridge. Anyone see anything wrong with this?

I personally don't like the amsteel as a bridge but I do like the idea of the utilibridge, so this is my brainstorm.
That looks like a nice setup. I would try that if my current double bridge of two climbing slings was not so convenient.

Looking more pics or videos/instruction on Oplux adjustable bridge. I am not a fan of Amsteel as it binds when used as an adjustable bridge.
