Any recommendations? I know Sitka and others have some pricey options and I’d be interested to hear how folks like them, but I’m thinking more about lower cost options. Best bet seems like a cheap set of knee pads that work with anything, but I’d appreciate any thoughts. (Sorry if this is covered already, just didn’t see much from a quick search)

Not sure the correct war....but the digital camo bdu pants that you can buy from military surplus have pockets built in for foam style knee pads

I prefer the Kuiu pants with knee pads. But if you're looking for cheaper then google "tactical pants with knee pads" there are a plethora of options from real world military BDU pants airsoft pants, and even carpenter work pants to choose from.

Arborwear Ascender pants are an amazing pant! Very much on the pricey side, however, you can find them much cheaper than this price. Perfect early to mid season pant! Durability and comfort is unmatched and recommended by many arborist.

I took some fleece and sewed on a pocket on my scent lock pants that takes a small pad, works great! I think I put it on here somewhere, I also made a version that goes over my rain gear, so I didn't have to punch a bunch of holes in my rain gear and hopefully it'll extend the life of em.

I was considering the Talus hybrid pant in solid...they look like a great all around pant. Curious if you have those or not and how well the waterproofing is in them?
