I actually made this as a shoulder strap for a water jug, but ditched it pretty soon. Paracord cobra weave over Walmart utility line with lanyard knots. Top loop girth hitched to riser, bottom loop secured with paracord soft shackle. I made the soft shackle a fair bit longer than needed so I bent it on with an Agile hitch with a few extra wraps. When not in sling mode I can loosen the soft shackle to capture the slack and keep it out of the way. Still recuperating from a hand injury so I haven't been able to shoot my bow with this installed.

I’ve been thinking about making myself one of these. Thanks for the pics. I really like your attachment method.

Thanks!

I've had the chance to shoot it a couple times now. I don't notice it while shooting. Deploying and stowing the sling are both easy amd silent. One thing is, when I stow it I need to be mindful of how it's routed around my sight, as I use a slider. I kinda hook it back over the quiver mount which keeps it out of the way. If I skip this step it can get into my sight picture.

I use a GBRS second best sling and a magnet on wrist sling so I can fold it over out of the way when I shoot. allows me to ride a bike and climb with my bow on my back and the quick adjust allows me to keep it tight when needed and make it loose when I take it off. the medal clip on sling/ magnet combo holds it tight to quiver side of bow. best sling for bow I've found and I tried them all

I was thinking about adding a magnet to mine, until I realized I could just tuck it under the friction hitch. Works out pretty slick. But if I were to design one from scratch, I'd probably do a magnet somehow as it just seems a bit more elegant.
