Went to scout some more land Saturday morning and as we entered the area, PIGS EVERYWHERE!
Almost brought the rifle buuuuutttt.........it stayed at home....dummy!
Bunch of them were 12 to 14 inches (eaters), 8 inch, little over knee high and 2 where half thigh tall with some very nice cutters.
I'm not leaving my weapon at home again.

Carry your rifle every time you go to that property and you will never see them again. That’s generally how it works!

I am looking at the ar 7 by Henry. It feels cheap but has good reviews and would fit great in my pack. It is legal to shoot pigs here anytime.

They are a problem for sure.

They are a mess here also. I always carry a weapon (223 savage bolt action, fusion 64 grain bullet) but I decided not to. I want do that again. We can hunt them all year.
